Thesaurus Czar

But it doesn't worry them because much/most of the media doesn't know or doesn't care and evidently much/most of the public doesn't either. Another thing I don't understand is the need for a "Czar" by any name. Obama and his teleprompter pals may well be aware of the fact that a "Czar" is by definition a despot. Why-fore the need for a Czar by any name. How many more unaccountable czars will the Obama administration impose by diktat. Good lord, the only employer adding jobs is the government and in case we didn't notice that money will have to come from fewer "regular" Americans who are paying taxes because fewer Americans have a job. If the Cabinet Members and their people cannot do the job then find people that can. As with the cybersecurity issue, this duplicates an existing agency&rsquo.  Many adults, particularly those under 45 have a vocabulary or lack thereof, that would have shamed most of the people that I went to school with.

Let’s get back to specifically describing, tell us their title, tell us their responsibilities – don’t be lazy and just call them a ‘czar. Rather than using words that most accurately describe, they’re using those in favor at the moment.

I refer to people like Frank Marshall Davis earlier on, and more recently, our first Green Energy Czar, Van Jones. The history of the word “Czar” ought to have caused some discomfort to more than a few of Mr. Obama’s advisors and appointees who are or were socialists and even communists. In short, we suggest that our current day “Czars” are misnamed. It’s odd to see how this new generation of communists is carelessly proliferating Czars. Their predecessors, those earlier communists, were inclined to shoot any Czar they found, along with his family. ”  By definition, a real Czar cannot report to anyone of higher rank.   Obviously too, one government can’t house more than a single solitary Czar, never mind thirty-nine. So, as a modest linguistic proposal, let’s rename the office of Czar. In the first place, a Czar is a supreme leader – originally a Russian-ized version of “Caesar. The Declaration of Independence was written to remind a certain King George that a real government is the servant of the people – a servant with duties limited by a constitution.  A change in vocabulary was forthcoming:  so the Declaration changed “Sovereign King” to “Foreign Tyrant” and then changed the term “Subject” to “Sovereign Citizen.   Old George III may have been crazy but he wasn’t stupid—at least not by comparison to some modern day journalists. “Old George III may have been crazy but he wasn’t stupid—at least not by comparison to some modern day journalists.
